After the Bang was presented at Galeria Municipal do Porto as one of the winning proposals of the Expo’98 in Porto competition. Curated by Tomás Abreu, the exhibition brought together works in photography and expanded cinema that examined the relationship between documentary and fiction, placing bodies and spaces outside temporal limits and within a decelerated rhythm. The works proposed a reflection on the paradoxes of globalisation and the massification of technology, questioning the ontological nature of the image in a generation shaped by digital culture and the rapid circulation of photographic fragments. With Alice dos Reis, Francisco M. Gomes, Henrique Pavão, Hugo de Almeida Pinho, Igor Jesus, Jorge Jácome, Lúcia Prancha, Mariana Rocha, Mariana Vilanova, Pedro Huet, Rodrigo Gomes, Sara Graça and Tomás Abreu.
